Sunshine After the Snow! February 19, 2021

Prentiss County, Mississippi, USA, February 19, 2021
We had freezing rain and sleet at the beginning of the week, then snow mid-week. But today we have sunshine! Above freezing temperatures are in the weekend forecast, but it may take longer to melt because under the snow is a layer of ice!

Be careful, stay safe, keep warm!
And please pray for those whose weather is worse than ours

  1. That is lovely, Lea! We have had cold and snow but we are used to it so there haven't been many problems.

  3. Gosh, this has been a crazy, cold and snowy/icy February for most of the U.S. But beautiful, yes.

  4. We had over a foot of snow but temperatures warmed up and it has mostly melted after 3 days. Hopefully it will do whatever magic snow does for the garden, and we won't get any more. At least our temperatures were not as low as for those in central USA and especially what some of my Texas friends went through, 5ºF. It is hard for them since they are not used to that kind of cold, and lost power for quite a while, which makes it especially tough.

  6. Beautiful trees and snow in the sunshine. I've always been a sunshine girl...my spirit just soars if the sun is shining. We haven't had snow that stuck around for long over here in Western North Carolina.
