Since Turkey Vultures, Cathartes aura, only eat animals that are already dead, they help clean up the environment.

Have a wonderful day!

  1. I've always found them fascinating animals.

  2. A friend of mine says she wants to be reincarnated as a Turkey Vulture - just cruise around all day and you don't have make dinner!

  3. Such a tiny little face for a big bird!

  4. The head never looks to fit the body, it’s so small.

  5. They do serve a valuable purpose, but David's comment gave me a good laugh.

  6. Hello,

They are good at cleaning up! Great shot of the Vulture! Take care, have a happy day!

  7. Nice picture of a wonderful and essential bird.

  8. They are some of the more majestic birds when they are in the air.
