1. Rain (Sky Watch Friday)
|
Prentiss County, Mississippi, USA, January 3, 2019 |
Being tired of a week of dark rain clouds, I went in search of color and found it - raindrops on the Nandina!
2. Good Food!
|
Tupelo, Mississippi, USA, January 3, 2019 |
Rainy days call for soup! Yesterday I met friends at my favorite Mexican Restaurant for Chicken Soup. Not too spicy - just right. Delicious!
3. After Christmas Sales
|
Prentiss County, Mississippi, USA, January 2, 2019 |
Now is the time to buy gift boxes, wrapping paper, and greeting cards for next Christmas. Guess what I paid for this pretty little box - tax included, it was 32 cents!
4. Deer (Saturday's Critters)
|
Prentiss County, Mississippi, USA, November 20, 2018 |
We often see deer near our house in the colder months.
5. Starlings (I'd Rather B Birdin')
|
Tupelo, Mississippi, USA, January 1, 2019 |
Although it is wonderful to have Bird Sanctuaries or Wildlife Refuges near you, you don't have to go anywhere special to enjoy birdwatching. Just look around you - birds are everywhere! I saw these Starlings at a busy shopping center.
Have a wonderful weekend!
