Mourning Dove, March 25, 2017

Saturday's Critters, Camera Critters, and I'd Rather B Birdin'

Prentiss County, Mississippi, USA, January 14, 2017
Mourning Dove, Zenaida macroura.
I almost forgot I had these Dove photos. I had computer problems that lasted most of February. Finally, I gave it up as a lost cause and got another computer. Thankfully, the computer guy was able to copy my photos from the dead computer to an external hard drive. And here they are - my Dove photos!

The pear trees have budded and bloomed since I made these photos in January.

Have a wonderful week-end!

Our pear tree is just budded up with fat buds---not flowering yet.

  9. We have doves in our yard a lot, too. They don't stick around for me to take photos when I go out, though. I'm glad you were able to recover your photos when you had to get a new computer. We sure depend on our machines, don't we?

  10. Hello!:) Wonderful captures of the Mourning Dove, a lovely bird!:)
We see Collard Doves in our garden, but they are so shy that I can't get decent shots of them. Well done, for these lovely images.:)

  11. So soft and pretty. Mourning doves were our wake up call earlier in the season....now mockingbirds have taken over. Either of them sure beat the jangle of an alarm clock!
