Sky Watch Friday, December 9, 2016

Pickwick, Tennessee, USA, December 5, 2016
Rain, rain, glorious rain! The view across the lake was muted by rain when we met friends for lunch at the Pickwick Inn Restaurant on Monday. This Autumn has been very dry. We are thankful to get rain this week.

 
These Coots, Fulica americana, feeding on the near shore, didn't seem to mind the rain at all.

    We had an arctic front move into our area this past couple of days also. Gray and drab. AND cold!!

    Love the photos. What a view to watch while eating lunch with friends.

    We received much need rain last week and a hard freeze today. The winter time, can make some very pretty sights, but I prefer warmer times.

    Very pretty and yes, thank goodness for the rain. It has been so dry here too and this week we got some much needed relief.

    I haven't seen rain for 2 weeks ! I was in Egypt it was hot, now back to Belgium and into the rain !
