Heron, November 26, 2016

Saturday's Critters, Camera Critters, and I'd Rather B Birdin'
Baldwyn, Mississippi, USA, November 21, 2016
With very little rain for the past two months, the water level in this small pond is steadily decreasing. I am wondering if low water makes catching fish easier for this Great Blue Heron.

Have a beautiful week-end!

  4. Lovely picture Lea. Like you say, I'm sure that heron will find lots of food in such shallow water.

  5. A great shot of this heron! I would think that it might make it harder as there might be fewer fish that are in the water.

  7. Hello!:) Wonderful capture of the heron, and I'm sure the low water level will, make it easier from him to catch his meals.
