Good Fences: Shiloh, November 3, 2016

Shiloh, Tennessee, USA, October 7, 2016
Many of the soldiers who died at the Battle of Shiloh (April 6-7, 1862) during the American Civil War are buried here at the United States National Cemetery at Shiloh, Tennessee.

    Civil War cemeteries and memorials are always so moving. We have not been to Shiloh, but would like to some time. What a beautiful gate. Very fitting.
