Heron, November 26, 2016

Saturday's Critters, Camera Critters, and I'd Rather B Birdin'
Baldwyn, Mississippi, USA, November 21, 2016
With very little rain for the past two months, the water level in this small pond is steadily decreasing. I am wondering if low water makes catching fish easier for this Great Blue Heron.

    Lovely picture Lea. Like you say, I'm sure that heron will find lots of food in such shallow water.

    A great shot of this heron! I would think that it might make it harder as there might be fewer fish that are in the water.
