It is hard to tell if this was a barn or a house, but I think it was a barn. A couple of trees propping it up are the only reason it is not flat on the ground. If only it could talk...

What a find. Your last sentence says it all... I always want to know the story of derelict barns and falling apart houses. So sad, but so interesting to see a once-loved structure in this state. But what a wonderful picture it makes.
