Guntersville Lake, Guntersville, Alabama, USA, September 9, 2016 |
As an extra bonus, this Green Heron showed up searching for food at the lake's edge. He kept those yellow eyes on me, but he didn't fly away as some birds do as soon as they see me with my camera. Wonderful, beautiful bird!
Hope you have a great week!

Beautiful picnic spot -- and wonderful photo of the Green Heron -- one of my very favorite birds in all the world (and not just because he doesn't fly away everytime I see him -- I also think he is one of the most colorful and lovely birds we see in Florida).
ReplyDeleteHi Lea, What a pretty place for a picnic. Love the green heron too. A very good shot and it is a surprise he didn't get scared when he spotted you.
