Marigolds, July 18, 2016

Prentiss County, Mississippi, USA, July 17, 2016
Marigolds, Tagates erecta, are very easy to grow, love full sun, and tolerate hot Summer temperatures. They range in color from pale yellow to dark orange.

Have a wonderful week!

    1. That pungent scent can be very useful - plant marigolds in your vegetable garden and you will have less insect damage on your veggies! Have a great day!

  5. And also if you plant them around your veg garden the slugs won't nibble on your lettuce ... And deer won't come into the garden, or at least not as often. At least that was true back in our former life when we gardened in Oregon.
