Tulip Popular, May 9, 2016

Tulip Popular tree blooms, Tishomingo County, Mississippi, USA, April 30, 2016
I spent the last week-end in April at a Camp Bluebird for Cancer Survivors. I went for a walk on Saturday morning and found these blooms on the trail, apparently blown down in Friday night's windstorm. A bottled water made an improvised vase. There are Camp Bluebirds all across the United States. I highly recommend them as a time of relaxation and refreshment for adult cancer survivors.

Have a Beautiful Week!

  5. These are beautiful. We have a tree in our yard, but the blooms are so high up I could never pick one. It's a very old tree. These blooms are also a different color and composition from ours. Now you are making me wish I was young again and could get out the tall ladder and see if I could reach and pick one. So pretty. Thanks for your visit to my blog. genie
