The blooms on this Running Rose are small, but there are hundreds of them!
This rose hangs its head down, so I have to lift the blooms to see them.
This is an old-fashioned rose called Burr Rose. Some of the leaves you see here are from a Wisteria Vine that is trying to take over. I must get in there and cut it down.
I think this is the prettiest of my Clematis vines. Shh! Don't tell the others!
This Coreopsis came from a packet of mixed seeds.
This Geranium is a new purchase. I like to have them in hanging baskets on my porch, but I don't have much luck trying to keep them through the Winter.
A few Pansies are still blooming.
A hopeful preview of things to come! I have planted Sunflower seeds!

Your roses are gorgeous Lea! We are in the same zone here (zone 7) and the roses aren't blooming yet, but on their way. I love your collection!

Beautiful flowers all!
ReplyDeleteLove the burr rose! Best of luck with the Wisteria removal. Mine was cut out two years ago, and STILL sends up shoots. They are the plant life's version of the Energizer bunny!
ReplyDeleteI see your roses are also blooming like crazy, Lea! I love the tiny red ones. I cut down a house-eating Wisteria, and am also still fighting the vines that keep coming up. I never got any pansies going this year, yours are lovely. I like them in my baskets, for their cheery faces.
ReplyDeleteThe blooms on your running rose are beautiful! Thanks for reminding me I need to plant sunflower seeds one of these days. Happy Bloom Day!
ReplyDeleteWonderful array of colours - there are so many different ways to be a flower!
