  1. Yay for the daffodils! Very pretty photo Lea. I noticed the first signs of them poking through in my neighbor's flower bed yesterday.

    1. PS, thank for the link http://www.visitflorenceal.com/things_to_do/toms-wall/. It is nice to read about the memorial built by the great grandson. It is amazing.

  4. A beautiful spring image Lea,
Although the sun's shining here the freezing North wind is blowing and there's snow on the ground. Hurry up spring... we miss you!

  5. I think I have that same daffodil, Lea, it is not blooming yet. I love the flared trumpets and orange tinges. Daffodils are great, since the animals can't eat them.

  6. I love these perky little spring bulbs. After moving from the family farm in East Texas a couple months ago, this reminds me that the daffs my grandmother planted over a hundred years ago are blooming on the hill where the old farmhouse stood!

  7. So beautiful. Fighting a bad case of spring envy here. (Daffodils don't bloom here in SW Florida -- I guess it is too hot for them in the winter or something). I miss them and get homesick for Oregon every year about this time. (Still I like it here this time of year too, so .....)
