Wildflower Wednesday February 22 2012

I have some tiny wildflowers to show for Wildflower Wednesday.

Thanks to Judy at Lilac Gate, I think this is Spring Beauty 'Claytonia virginica'

This may be a kind of Bluet. If anyone can identify for certain, please do.

This looks like a tiny violet.  Does anyone know what it is?

Happy Wildflower Wednesday!

  6. Thanks to Sharon at Sprouts and Wildlings, I think I have identified the last photo as a Field Pansy. Hers are a lighter color, but according to info on a wildflower website (Illinois Wildflowers), the color can vary from light to dark.
    Have a great week!
