Purple-Hull Peas

Thankful Thursday and Little Things Thursday

I am thankful that it is Summer and the farmer's markets have lots of fresh vegetables for sale. And I am thankful for the Purple-Hull Peas I bought at our local farmer's market yesterday!
Purple-Hull Peas are a variety of Black-Eyed Peas.

    I love purple hull peas! My mother used to raise them in her garden in Prentiss County and I shelled and ate a lot of them growing up.
