Heron in a Tree, July 27, 2022

Wild Bird Wednesday and My Corner of the World

Pickwick, Tennessee, USA, July 10, 2022
Great Blue Herons, Ardea herodias, are most often seen wading in shallow water looking for fish, but sometimes you find them in unexpected places!

Have a wonderful day!

I am linking in today with Wild Bird Wednesday and My Corner of the World

"Know ye that the Lord he is God; it is He that hath made us, and not we ourselves; we are His people, and the sheep of His pasture. Enter into His gates with thanksgiving, and into His courts with praise. Be thankful unto Him and bless His name. For the Lord is good; His mercy is everlasting; and His truth endures to all generations" Psalm 100:3-5

  4. Nice shot. I've seen other herons and egrets in trees but I don't think I've ever seen a Great Blue there.
