Earlier this week we saw three species of butterfly here - Mourning Cloak, Eastern Comma and Compton's Tortoiseshell. As you say, sure signs of spring.
Lovely Giant Swallowtail. I have been seeing a few of them, along with a few Monarchs in my yard recently.
