Outdoor Wednesday

November 30, 2014 |
This small lake is at Ballard Park in Tupelo, MS, USA. Attached to the far side of the footbridge is "Happy Holidays" to be viewed from across the lake. It is just one of many Christmas decorations throughout the park that are lit up at night. This year November saved its best day until last. The 30th was a mild, sunny day - temps reached 75F (about 24C)!
Have a wonderful Wednesday!

Autumn does surprise with unusual blooms. You got a great subject for the theme.
ReplyDeleteAmazing! We also have some blooming flowers in our garden, which is unusual too! We ought to have snow now!
ReplyDeleteHave a great week!

Yes, the weather is so variable here, it sometimes throws off the blooming schedule.

Announcing Fall blooms.....excellent job!

Was a beautiful day for a stroll around the lake.
ReplyDeleteSome of those little tender blossoms just don't want to give up. We have a few still trying too keep their pretty faces out.
ReplyDeleteIt certainly has been most unusual weather this year. My weigela bush has flowered at three different times. I love the idea of Christmas decorations in a park.
ReplyDeleteUnusual, but pretty blooms!
ReplyDeleteI love garden surprises....
ReplyDeleteSpirea can surprise, it has turned out to be a long-lasting shrub for me. It looks like your trees have mostly lost their leaves so it would be especially surprising to see blooms!
