S is for Spirea
Spirea is a group of about 100 shrubs native to the northern hemisphere. I am not sure which Spirea I have, as it was here when I moved in over 30 years ago. I think it may be 'Ogon'
In the Spring, every stem is completely covered with tiny white blooms.

part shade/mostly sun and requires very little care. A great shrub for all seasons!

I like how you show the plant in the Spring and then in the Fall. Excellent job!

They work good in our yard. Don't have to water them even in the dry times.
ReplyDeleteSpirea is a bush for all seasons. Lovely in spring and wise in autumn.

Beautiful blossoms!
ReplyDeleteVery nice looking plants - we have a very similar looking plant here, tiny white flowers in spring, but no real autumn colours as it does not shed its leaves.
