ABC Wednesday
O is for Oxalis
Oxalis grow all around the world except in the polar regions. They may be grown as potted plants or as garden ornamentals. Leaves may have from 3 to 10 leaflets.
The flowers have 5 petals and may be white, yellow, pink or multi-colored. Here in US zone 7,
my Oxalis flower from Spring to late Autumn.

I'm glad to see you are posting a lot again. Hope that means you are feeling much, much better. Love oxalis.
ReplyDeleteYes, I am feeling much better, though I still get tired easily and take an afternoon nap each day. My hair is beginning to grow again, too.
DeleteHave a great day!

What a cute sign! Happy Wednesday :)
ReplyDeleteLovely plant/flower!
ReplyDeleteO is for oysters
The only oxalis I have grown is the one that is a garden weed. It seems we will never be able to get rid of it! It is such a nuisance that my husband won't even let me bring the ornamental type into the garden, even though I tell him that variety is probably not invasive! Happy fall to you and happy gardening!
ReplyDeleteWishing you a Happy Fall right back at ya! I love your photographs of oxalis.

We have several shamrock plants. They die back completely in the winter, then come back each spring in fuller and fuller clumps Quite rewarding~
ReplyDeleteGreat O's. I love the Fall displays of hay bales and pumpkins.
