Thanksgiving Cactus, December 7, 2013

First Bloom, December 6, 2013, Straight out of the Camera
This is either a Thanksgiving Cactus that is late to bloom, or a Christmas Cactus that is early.
Either way, it is lovely to have it blooming in my kitchen in the Winter.

Hope you are having a beautiful day!

  1. It's beautiful Lea and I appreciate you sharing it with Today's Flowers. Thank you very much :)

  2. :) anything that blooms indoors in a snow bound winter is a wonder and balm to the soul. A lovely, healthy looking cactus it is too.

  3. Beautiful and the colour is very pretty.

  4. Beautiful colour, we call them Christmas cactus regardless of when they flower :-)

  5. I always get them mixed up, too! But it is a very pretty color. So nice to have color inside during these winter months.

  6. PRETTY!

I'm so glad we did not get ice/snow and sleet........... We did get really cold temps on Sat., and rain....lots of rain yesterday.

  7. I agree with you - it is such a pretty colour. :)

  8. Beautiful shot! MIne hasn't started making blossoms yet. Maybe I'll get Easter flowers.

  9. Very nice! I'm amazed at the color. Most of the ones I've seen have been bright red or pastel pink. Thanks for sharing!
