December Sky, December 5-6, 2013

Thursday morning, December 5, 2013
A winter storm is moving in. Hopefully it will bring a cold rain only and not ice and snow.
The green in the field is probably the wildflower-weed Henbit.
We often see it in the fields after the crops are harvested.

Hope you have a happy and safe week-end!

  1. I heard you were supposed to get ice down your way. We were between the two weather systems Tues and Wed, so we had only drizzle and dense fog while areas north and south of us had a lot of snow and ice. Now another cold front has moved in. The good news is no more dangerous fog. The bad news is frigid temps and snow over the weekend. Sigh...winter is definitely here already. Be safe and stay warm! My Skywatch

  4. It does look like you are in for some chilly weather! We are having some hard freezes here with a possibility of snow. Now that doesn't happen very often! Stay warm!
