Thank you! I still have pears and must try this.
ReplyDeleteI forget now what I saw blooming the other day and thought the plant had lost it's mind.
The recipe sounds yummy, thanks! All the years I've been eating okra and I had no idea they produced blooms. That is a beautiful one!
ReplyDeleteThat would be gone real Quick if I was there

That looks delicious. I did an apple tart like that once. It was a lot quicker than a pie and just as tasty. - Margy
ReplyDeleteLove the different perspective on the bloom!
ReplyDeleteYour tart looks really yummy. I almost wish it was lunch time already.
ReplyDeleteOkay, now you are making me drool. That pear masterpiece looks so yummy. I think I will have to try it.
ReplyDeletePears have never been one of my favorite fruits, but that tart does sound good.
ReplyDeleteThat looks so delicious and would be wonderful with he cup of coffee I'm about to have. :)
ReplyDeleteLOVELY bloom! I really like the perspective and those lines in the petals are highlighted beautifully in the light.
I've never grown okra before, so I had no idea it had such lovely blooms. The pear tart looks so elegant, but the recipe sounds quite simple--my kind of baking!
ReplyDeleteOh my goodness, that dessert looks soooo good! I wonder if you could use apples instead? Either way--yum!!!
ReplyDeletePerhaps with apples adding cinnamon to the sugar/flour mixture would be good. I think I'll try that next. Thanks for the suggestion!
