Bearded Iris May 5, 2013

Other than adding my name, this is Straight Out of the Camera.

The word 'iris' comes from a Greek word meaning rainbow,
referring to the multitude of bloom colors available.

  8. So pretty! I'm hoping some of my iris bloom this year, they didn't last year. :( You're giving me incentive to be patient and keep them around!

  9. Beautiful! My iris that is blooming right now is a mixture of purples. Some of them are very dark purple, almost black. :)
