I do have serious wisteria envy! Our wisteria has not bloomed for years, but I enjoyed seeing this photo. And maybe this will be the year that our wisteria will bloom!
Very pretty! I had never seen wisteria before (except in photos) until I went to Italy --- I couldn't believe how pretty it is, and how nice it smells! :)
I MADE my husband stop on the side of the road and dig up 4 or 5 starts of wisteria. He said he didn't want it in the yard and that I was going to be sorry.
Last year, I decided he was right and killed it all. I could never get it to grow like a shrub and it ran suckers all over the place.
I adore Wisteria but am a little scared to put it in my garden. I'm still thinking about the right spot and I know it is a vigorous grower. Thank you for showing it in such a natural setting. It looks so wonderfully HAPPY!
