Blooming Today (in my kitchen), November 26, 2014

ABC Wednesday and Outdoor Wednesday

T is for Thanksgiving Cactus
First bloom on Thanksgiving Cactus, November 26, 2014
Outdoor Wednesday
Frost on the Encore Azalea
We awoke this morning to 28F (-2C) and a heavy frost.

Happy Thanksgiving!
If I were to write down all I am thankful for, I would need a sheet of paper a mile long!

  2. Happy gobble, gobble. Eat until you drop. Set your scale 10 pounds back. From our house to your house we wish you a HAPPY THANKSGIVING.

  3. Ah frosty mornings, there will be a lot more of those, nice to see the cactus ignoring it.

  4. We haven't had frost yet in Vancouver, but I think it is on its way :) Loved that your cactus bloomed just in time for Thanksgiving. It is lovely! Love to come across other people with long "thankful for" lists :) Happy Thanksgiving to you and your loved ones.

  5. I love the Christmas Cactus, however I never have any luck growing this kind of plant. Sure is pretty. Happy Thanksgiving to you and your family

  6. Sounds like your Thanksgiving was as cold as ours. I was at a friend's grandmother's over the weekend who has a 100-yr old Thanksgiving cactus that was starting to bloom.
