Wild Bird Wednesday and My Corner of the World

Tupelo, Mississippi, USA, December 25, 2022
Always take your camera with you; you never know where you might see something interesting! I found this Red-tailed Hawk, Buteo jamaicensis, perched on a road sign beside the highway.

Have a wonderful day!

I am linking in today with Wild Bird Wednesday and My Corner of the World

For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life." John 3:16

  2. I saw a large hawk stalking a squirrel yesterday but there were too many branches in the way to get a pic. You got a nice one, Lea.

  7. They like to watch the roads for birds that get hit by vehicles. Usually I see hawks when there's no place to stop. Nice photo!
