All these photos were taken on the Natchez Trace Parkway
Hiking Trail near Tupelo, Mississippi, USA
Sycamore trees can be identified by their peeling bark.
This wooden walkway crosses a marshy area.
Though a lot of leaves have fallen, many leaves on the lower limbs are still green.
Walking along you find unexpected splashes of vibrant color.
Originally this pond was a short distance farther south of here.
When the new highway came through, it was moved to this location.
If the sun is shining, take a walk outside.
You'll be glad you did!
