Garden Bloggers' Bloom Day December 2011

Pansies bloom through the winter in Mississippi zone 7.

I photographed these pansy blooms Wednesday when I visited my Mother-in-law.
The photo below shows the only 'bloom' I have in my garden!

  3. Oh, those pansies are gorgeous! I wish I had planted some. My husband planted a few in some pots, but I usually have them in the flower beds. Oh well, next year! I like that bit of garden whimsy you have 'growing' in your yard!

  11. I love pansies. I plant them in March here in Nebraska, and they usually last until the hottest part of summer. Once in awhile, they will make it through into fall, and grow new blooms.

I like your art flower, too. It is very cheerful!
