Wild Bird Wednesday and Wednesday Around The World

The American Crow, Corvus brachyrhynchos, is a common bird across most of the United States and Canada, but they are rarely seen in Mexico. They are social birds with strong family ties. The young birds stay with their parents for several years to help raise the next years' nestlings.

They eat a wide variety of food: seeds, fruit, berries, insects, earthworms, mice, and small fish.
