We are Beginning to Thaw Out, January 9-10, 2014

Thursday 10:00 am, Prentiss County, Mississippi, USA
After three days of below freezing temperatures (day and night), we are beginning to thaw out.
But clouds are coming in - a rainy week-end ahead.
I hope we are back to our usual winter weather: below freezing at night, but above in the daytime.
Hope your weather is good!

  2. It seems we might be swapping weather, after 3 weeks of relentless rain and wind we are finally getting sunny, calmer and colder weather. Not sure if it will be below freezing in my garden at night but it might be close to zero.
Hope you have a great week, take care, Helene.

  3. The rain sounds good. We would welcome it here! We really need some rain to clear up the terrible air pollution. That is a great photo of the winter sky!

  4. Northwest Arkansas finally came out of the deep freeze yesterday. Rain today will melt the remainder of the snow and ice. Have a blessed week-end.

  7. I like how you caught the blue in the distance beneath the gray clouds. Such strange weather we're all having. You're getting too much rain on your end of the continent, and we're not getting any. I hope the balance comes soon.
